This role focuses on developing and optimizing platform specific code to ensure real-time performance on embedded platforms\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPlatform Development\nDevelop software for running and testing the 5G NR PHY algorithms\n Performance Optimisation\nUtilise SIMD, multi-threading, and hardware acceleration (e.g., FPGA, DSP).\nIntegration & Testing\nIntegrate the platform code with 5G NR PHY algorithms and ARM enabled boards.\nImprove and maintain CI testing across the entire platform\nStandards Compliance\nSupport interoperability testing with other vendors and operators.\nCollaboration\nWork closely with system-test, hardware, and system architecture teams.\nCustomer facing experience. \nContribute to technical reviews.\n\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\n\nRequired Skills\nStrong proficiency in C or C++\nProficiency in a scripting language: Python, Groovy, bash\n Preferred Skills\nExperience with real-time embedded systems and Linux.\nFamiliarity with hardware acceleration (FPGA, DSP, SIMD).\nKnowledge of signal processing and optimisation techniques.\nHands-on with FPGA toolchains (Xilinx Vivado).\nExposure to O-RAN architecture and fronthaul protocols (eCPRI).\nJob Benefits\nWe pay competitive salaries which depend on skills and experience.\nWe offer a bonus scheme which pays up to 20% of salary annually, depending on performance.
