Ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures. Drive achievements through effective planning and allocation of resources in accordance with standard processes, procedures, and safety guidelines. This role involves collaboration and communication with various Accelleron teams and departments to foster a culture of safety, innovation and improvement, ultimately leading to increased productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.\nMain responsibilities:\nProduction Planning Execution & Delivery | Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement | People Leadership, Team Supervision & Development\nThe outlined responsibilities highlight major aspects of this role, but they are not exhaustive. Additional tasks that are considered reasonable expectations for the position may also be assigned.\nResposibilities\nOrganizes and allocates resources and activities to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently (OTD, schedule, quality, cost, competency, workload)\nResponds to resource issues as necessary\nEffectively utilizes available resources and leads planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit to meet targets\nBe present for start and end of shift for assigned unit\nWork according to working instructions and adhere to regulatory and company OHS policy\nEnsure team members work to the same standard, with a focus on safety, quality and on time delivery\nEnsures execution of volume, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned unit.\nManages the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams\nWork with the relevant teams to ensure that materials and components are available to execute the required tasks\nEnsure that daily pre-use checks and maintenance on tools and equipment are performed as needed\nMaintain a clean and proper working environment\nParticipate in division and local training programs\nAdapt to changing requirements, timelines and expectations\nEnsures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, resourced and supervised.\nReviews competence levels to ensure each team member is appropriately qualified to handle jobs assigned to them.\nGuides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates\nContinuous Improvement:\nIdentifies deficiencies in unit area, proposes improvement activities, and oversee implementation of actions to improve production performance.\nDrives continuous productivity improvement activities in the assigned unit in collaboration with ProDev/OpEx.\n[redacted]\n\nEnsure compliance with Group HSE directives, and ensures instructions and regulations are implemented well within the team, while monitoring and reporting progress and results.\nAssesses risks and safety hazards, reports and implements actions to ensure people and equipment safety.\nContribute positively to company safety culture\nAdhere to the Accelleron Code of Conduct\nYour background:\nHigh School diploma or GED\n8+ years of experience in a production environment\nWorking knowledge of turbochargers is required\nBackground in engines or similar mechanical systems is preferred\nPrior experience with industrial machinery and tools is required\nPrior experience with remanufacturing is required\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills\nAbility to work and contribute within cross-functional teams\nSkill using Microsoft Office products\nPhysical & Other Demands:\nStand or Sit: Must be able to remain in a standing position 80% of the time to perform various functions of the job machinery and tools is required.\nWalk: Walk and move about on foot often through uneven surfaces.\nUse hands/fingers to handle or feel: Constantly use hands/arms to operate various equipment, including hand and power tools and industrial machinery. Must be able to handle objects of various size. Must be able to extends hands and arms in any direction.\nStoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.\nTalk/hear: Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Communications by phone and in person. Hears well enough to discern mechanical problems for safety in and around workspace and to receive communication by phone and in person.\n See: Ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
