In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the high quality of our software releases.\nYou will be responsible for developing and executing detailed smoke and regression test scenarios, maintaining comprehensive test cases, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.\nThis role requires working from4:30pm-1:30am ISTremotely, to support a US customer.\nRole and Responsibilities:\nBuild regression automation scripts that support app functionality\nTest software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria\nExecute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software\nRecord detailed documentation of feature behavior\nRecord pass/fails conditions of tests and correlates failures to bug identification\nIdentifies and escalates any risk to quality of the product or the process\nCollaborates with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles\nCollaborates with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy\nParticipate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning\nUtilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices\nParticipate in On-Call rotation\nRequirements\nTechnical Qualifications:\n10+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role\n7+ years of experience in automated testing\nExperience with programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Gherkin, SQL, Ruby-on-Rails.\nExperience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest/Puppeteer, Playwright, Postman, Jmeter or any other object-oriented based automated testing framework\nExperience with testing support functionalities such as Github Actions, Lambdatest, Sendgrid, Datadog, PagerDuty\nUnderstanding of quality management systems and quality control processes\nBackground in data-based testing and/or security-based testing\nA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant experience\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nPossess a mindset focused on holistic quality\nBenefits\nExciting Projects: We focus on industries like High-Tech, communication, media, healthcare, retail and telecom.
