Stack Engineer to help define and build a new patient-facing digital health application.\nThis role combines hands-on full stack development, software architecture, technical discovery, and product thinking.\nThe engineer will work closely with key stakeholders to understand product needs, define the MVP, propose technical solutions, identify risks, estimate development efforts, and take ownership of the solution from early-stage discovery through production.\nThe ideal candidate has strong experience building and launching digital health products, working with sensitive healthcare data, developing cloud-based applications, and integrating external APIs and health data platforms.\nExperience with wearable integrations, healthcare interoperability, and U.S. healthcare environments is highly valuable.\nResponsibilities\nLead technical discovery and translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nDefine the architecture and technical approach for a new patient-facing digital health application.\nHelp define the MVP, technical scope, priorities, estimates, dependencies, and risks.\nDesign and develop full stack functionality across the product.\nBuild and integrate external APIs and healthcare data services.\nDesign secure solutions for handling sensitive patient and health information.\nSupport integrations with wearable devices and/or health data platforms.\nCollaborate directly with client stakeholders to clarify requirements and recommend technical solutions.\nMake architectural decisions balancing scalability, security, maintainability, and speed of delivery.\nTake ownership of technical delivery from discovery through development, testing, deployment, and production.\nCollaborate with Backend, Frontend/Mobile, Product Design, QA, and Cloud/Security resources as needed.\nContribute to the definition of the engineering team and technical roadmap as the product evolves.\nRequirements\nStrong professional experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or similar hands-on technical role.\nProven experience building and launching software products from early stages through production.\nProfessional experience with Digital Health, HealthTech, healthcare applications, or patient-facing healthcare products.\nStrong hands-on full stack software development experience.\nExperience designing and implementing cloud-based application architectures.\nStrong experience integrating third-party APIs and external platforms.\nExperience working with sensitive healthcare data.\nExperience working with HIPAA requirements and protected health information (PHI) in U.S. healthcare environments.\nAbility to conduct technical discovery, define an MVP, estimate development efforts, and identify technical risks.\nStrong ownership, autonomy, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate directly with client stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.\nStrong written and spoken English communication skills.\nNice to Have\nHands-on experience integrating wearable devices or health data platforms such as Apple HealthKit, Apple Health, Health Connect, Fitbit, Garmin, or similar technologies.\nExperience with FHIR, HL7, EHR, and/or EMR integrations.\nExperience building mobile healthcare applications.\nExperience working in startup, early-stage, or 0-to-1 product environments.\nExperience working directly with founders or senior product stakeholders.\nExperience defining and delivering MVPs for digital health products.\nStrong knowledge of healthcare security, privacy, and compliance best
