The successful candidate will bring strong C/C++ development skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges in a high-load, high-availability environment.\nThis position offers the opportunity to deepen your understanding of the airline industry while contributing to innovative solutions that support Accelya’s global business strategy, values, and mission.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nDevelop, code, test, troubleshoot, and maintain high-availability, high-load software using appropriate hardware, databases, and programming technologies.\nInvestigate and resolve complex software defects, developing, testing, and implementing programming modifications as required.\nWrite new program code based on prescribed specifications and standards within a large, existing software system.\nCollaborate with business subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to design, document, and develop high-performance solutions to complex problems.\nDevelop routines to parse and store input data in a variety of proprietary formats.\nUse development and profiling tools, such as Microsoft Visual Studio Profiler, to analyze performance and optimize code for deployment in high-scale environments.\nLeverage modern AI-assisted software development tools to improve productivity, code quality, debugging, testing, documentation, and problem-solving.\nFollow established software development standards and practices while contributing to the continuous improvement of our Offer Engines.\nRequired Experience & Skills\nBachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.\nStrong software development experience in C/C++.\nExcellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nUnderstanding of common Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.\nKnowledge of Microsoft operating systems and development tools, including Microsoft Visual Studio.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.\nFluent English: interviews will be held in this language. \nPreferred Experience & Skills\nUnderstanding of SAFe, Scrum, or Agile methodologies.\nKnowledge of the Linux operating system.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted software development tools, such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI-powered coding and development tools.\nExperience using development and profiling tools to analyze and optimize software performance in high-scale environments.\nWhat do we offer?\nOpen culture and a challenging opportunity to satisfy intellectual needs.\nFlexible working hours.\nSmart working: hybrid remote/office working environment.\nWork-life balance.\nExcellent, dynamic, and multicultural environment.\nAbout Accelya\nAccelya is a leading global software provider to the airline industry, powering 200+ airlines with an open, modular software platform that enables innovative airlines to drive growth, delight their customers and take control of their retailing.\nOwned by Vista Equity Partners’ long-term perennial fund and with 2K+ employees based around 10 global offices, Accelya is trusted by industry leaders to deliver now and deliver for the future.\nThe company’s passenger, cargo, and industry platforms support airline retailing from offer to settlement, both above and below the wing.
