Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business system components. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operational continuity. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and swiftly resolve disruptions, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of business processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues.
- Document findings and solutions to enhance team knowledge and support future troubleshooting.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of monitoring and alerting processes to prevent system downtime.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when necessary.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ControlM Administration.
- Experience in managing job scheduling, monitoring workflows, and troubleshooting ControlM environments.
- Strong understanding of batch processing and automation within enterprise systems.
- Ability to analyze logs and system alerts to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with integrating ControlM with various operating systems and applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in ControlM Administration.
- This position is based at our BBDC1A - NON-STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
