Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business system components. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to maintain system stability and performance. The position demands continuous collaboration with different teams to ensure seamless operation and timely resolution of challenges that impact business processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues efficiently.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize support processes and system reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Glue.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with PySpark.
- Strong knowledge of cloud data integration and ETL processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data workflows and system interactions.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining data pipelines in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline support tasks.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in AWS Glue.
- This position is based at our CDC2A - SEZ office.
