Application Support Engineer - AWS

As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as a software detective, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the smooth operation of essential applications and systems. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyze system performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools used in application support.

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications.
• Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• Expected to be an SME.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.

Requirements:

• Must-have skills: Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture.
• Experience with application monitoring and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with incident management and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• A 15-year full-time education is required.
