Acting as the key link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business needs, defining requirements, supporting solution design, and ensuring successful delivery throughout the full project lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, document, validate, and prioritise business, functional, non-functional, and data requirements.\nFacilitate workshops, discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and requirements refinement activities.\nCreate and maintain high-quality business analysis artefacts including user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, use cases, functional specifications, and requirements traceability documentation.\nTranslate business requirements into clear and actionable solutions, working closely with developers, architects, UX designers, testers, and other technical stakeholders.\nSupport solution design activities and identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification, and optimisation.\nManage and maintain requirements, user stories, defects, and delivery progress using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.\nSupport Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.\nAct as the primary liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned throughout the delivery lifecycle.\nSupport testing activities including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect triage, requirements traceability, and business validation.\nFacilitate stakeholder decision-making by presenting analysis, solution options, risks, impacts, and recommendations in a clear and structured manner.\nSupport deployment, business readiness, training, operational handover, and post-implementation continuous improvement activities.\nManage risks, dependencies, issues, and scope changes, ensuring delivery outcomes align with business objectives and agreed project scope.\nRequired Skills and Experience\n4-6 years' proven experience in Business Analysis within technology delivery environments.\nStrong experience gathering, analysing, documenting, validating, and managing business and technical requirements.\nProven experience developing functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability artefacts.\nExperience working as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams.\nStrong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).\nExperience working within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.\nHands-on experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools to manage requirements, user stories, defects, and delivery progress.\nExperience supporting application development, digital transformation, or technology delivery programmes.\nExperience facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.\nExperience supporting testing activities including SIT and UAT.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable solutions.\nExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of delivery outcomes.\nDesirable Skills and Experience\nExperience delivering digital transformation, customer-facing platforms, online services, or transactional solutions.\nExperience working within public sector, government, or highly regulated environments.\nKnowledge of emerging technologies and business trends including Cloud, APIs, Microservices, Generative AI, and Internet of Things (IoT).\nFamiliarity with custom application development environments (e.g. Java, .NET).\nBABOK, BCS Business Analysis, Agile, Jira, Azure DevOps, or related certifications.\nExperience coordinating demonstrations, user training, and business readiness activities.\nFamiliarity with accessibility, security, audit, and data protection requirements.\nExperience working within regulated industries such as Utilities, Financial Services, Public Sector or Communications.\nExperience working with CRM and case management platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, supporting requirements definition, functional configuration, process optimisation, and business change initiatives.\nAbout Accenture\nAccenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world’s leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services-creating tangible value at speed and scale.
