Visit us at accenture.com.\nOverview\nThe Business Intelligence Engineer designs, delivers, and maintains scalable reporting and analytics solutions that enable data-informed decision-making across the organization. This role owns end-to-end analytics delivery, from understanding business needs and ensuring data integrity to building automated dashboards and advanced analytical outputs that surface insights, trends, and opportunities. The role leads a small analytics team and shapes the predictive-analytics roadmap for the function.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the end-to-end delivery of business intelligence solutions, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timely availability of data products.\n\nPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business questions into analytical solutions, and iteratively refine dashboards and reports.\n\nDesign, build, and maintain dashboards and recurring reports that provide actionable insights and support operational and strategic decisions.\n\nExecute ad hoc data analyses to support business inquiries, experiments, and special initiatives.\n\nMonitor and manage data workflows to ensure seamless refresh cycles and proactively resolve data disruptions.\n\nImplement and enforce data quality controls to ensure consistency, completeness, and trust in reporting outputs.\n\nTransform reporting from descriptive and diagnostic views toward more proactive and predictive analytics where applicable.\n\nAutomate manual reporting processes, including the conversion of spreadsheet-based reporting into scalable dashboards built on modern data-stack tooling (e.g., dbt, Looker, cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift).\n\nCollaborate with data governance and adjacent data teams to align with best practices and maintain data integrity.\n\nContribute to project planning and execution by managing scope, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.\n\nProvide guidance and support to team members by clarifying requirements, removing delivery roadblocks, and promoting effective collaboration across time zones.\n\nCommunicate project status, risks, and insights clearly to stakeholders, fostering strong and trusted working relationships.\n\nRequired Experience\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.\n\n4+ years of experience working in data-driven environments delivering analytics, reporting, or business intelligence solutions, with at least 1+ year in a team lead or formal people-management capacity.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing complex datasets.\n\nHands-on experience designing and delivering dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, LookML, Data Studio).\n\nWorking knowledge of at least one cloud data warehouse (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) is preferred.\n\nFamiliarity with Git-based workflows for analytics code (branching, pull requests, code review) is preferred.\n\nStrong experience working with large datasets in Excel or Google Sheets, including automation and advanced analysis.\n\nProven ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nExperience with data cleansing, validation, and transformation to produce high-quality analytical outputs.\n\nFamiliarity with ETL and automation concepts supporting analytics workflows.\n\nExperience working within Agile delivery methodologies.\n\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical thinking with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data.\n\nClear and confident communication skills, tailored to diverse stakeholder audiences.\n\nProactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.\n\nCollaborative approach and comfort working with multicultural, cross-functional teams.\n\nAdaptability and creativity when addressing evolving business and data challenges.\n\nWhat we offer\nHealth and Life Insurance\n\nAccenture days, 3 additional vacation days\n\nOn site doctor\n\nBirthday leave\n\nInternet reimbursement\n\nAbout Accenture\nAccenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world’s leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services-creating tangible value at speed and scale.
