Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer develops and validates architectural proofs to assess the feasibility and robustness of the proposed cloud environments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across diverse platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud infrastructure and application deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud platform issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Document architectural designs and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing and future enhancements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Ability to design and implement scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for cloud environment management.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- This position is based at our BBDC1A - NON-STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
