Summary:

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer develops and validates architectural proofs to assess the feasibility and robustness of cloud environments, ensuring that infrastructure and platform setups align with organizational goals and operational requirements. Collaboration with various teams to coordinate deployment activities and troubleshoot issues is also a key part of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

- Lead the evaluation and implementation of cloud migration strategies to optimize system performance and reliability.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.

- Coordinate with stakeholders to align cloud platform initiatives with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cloud Migration Planning.

- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.

- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

- Ability to design and validate cloud architecture proofs to ensure system viability.

- Familiarity with performance testing and optimization in cloud environments.

- Skilled in integrating cloud and non-cloud infrastructure components.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud Migration Planning.

- This position is based at our INDC1A - NON-STPI location.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
