You combine technical excellence with stakeholder influence, continuous improvement and a strong focus on secure, resilient and maintainable software development.\nTHE WORK: As a member of Accenture’s Software Development and Application Delivery practice, you will design, build and deliver innovative software solutions for one of Canada’s leading financial institutions. You will lead teams responsible for developing, integrating and modernizing custom applications and ECM assets using modern frameworks, AWS services and agile delivery practices. Working closely with architects, product owners and client stakeholders, you will drive technical decisions, oversee implementation and strengthen system performance, scalability, security and operational efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design, development and implementation of custom software components and service-based architectures supporting ECM assets and document processing solutions.\n\nDrive solution architecture and technical design decisions across distributed systems, microservices, batch workloads and event-driven applications.\n\nDesign and develop integrations using Java/Spring Boot, REST/Open APIs and Kafka to connect ECM assets with upstream and downstream banking systems.\n\nLead batch-oriented integrations supporting ECM and CMOD loads, including high-volume document ingestion and transaction processing.\n\nDesign AWS-based document workflows and integrations using AWS Lambda, AWS Batch and Amazon S3.\n\nProvide technical leadership for ECM modernization and cloud migration initiatives, including FileNet and CMOD workloads moving to AWS-based architectures.\n\nGuide teams in implementing CI/CD, deployment automation, container platforms, Infrastructure as Code and job orchestration using GitHub Actions, Harness, ArgoCD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and BMC Control-M.\n\nEstablish and promote development standards, code quality, automated testing, security, observability and operational reliability practices.\n\nProvide technical leadership, mentorship and guidance to development teams and strengthen development capability through knowledge sharing and reusable assets.\n\nCollaborate with architects, product owners, security teams and business stakeholders to align solutions with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.\n\nAnalyze complex technical and business challenges and develop scalable, maintainable and resilient solutions.\n\nTake accountability for delivery outcomes and contribute to critical technical and business decisions across multiple teams.\n\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field.\n\nMinimum 7 years of experience in software development, application development or custom software delivery.\n\nProven experience leading development teams, technical workstreams or large-scale development initiatives.\n\nExperience working within Agile delivery methodologies.\n\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.\n\nThis role requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. Preferred location: Montreal, Quebec\n\nEnglish is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our North America Market.
