The program ensures Accenture meets contractual obligations, legal and regulatory requirements as well as voluntary commitments made in the fields of data governance and artificial intelligence, with a strong focus on bringing Accenture’s values and culture to life.\nThis role will support our activities to design, build and maintain a strong compliance program which sits next to our mature data privacy program. A specific focus will be on ensuring alignment of the two programs and the support of joint program elements. You will work closely with the Data & AI Compliance, Data Privacy, Global Services Legal and Responsible AI teams. It is a full-time role that will be filled by an experienced professional able to demonstrate expertise and interest in the areas of digital, technology, governance and compliance.\nYour key responsibilities will be to\nMonitor legislative and regulatory activities, trade association policy work, voluntary commitments and similar developments related to data, artificial intelligence and data privacy;\nIdentify requirements and good practice that are aligned to our existing programs or might require enhancements of our compliance programs;\nDraft and maintain Accenture standards and controls reflecting legal, regulatory and policy requirements as well as best practices;\nTranslate requirements, standards and policy documents into practical guidance;\nManage email communication, frequently asked questions etc. to provide timely and pragmatic advice;\nSupport client facing work such as providing guidance to contracting counsel;\nSupport the documentation of AI systems and solutions with a focus on high risk ones;\nProvide advice to ensure data and AI compliance issues are considered at the outset of new services, offerings, projects, products and initiatives;\nKeep abreast of technology trends and developments and their impact, and develop and deliver guidance and training for internal audiences;\nBuild and maintain strong and trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, in particular with legal, risk, information security and business teams.\nKnowledge, Skills and Experience\nDemonstrated command of data governance and artificial intelligence, and related policy, laws and regulations;\nHas worked supporting a compliance program, ideally at multinational organization and/or in the digital, AI or technology space;\nProven ability to operationalize and implement strategy and policies;\nDemonstrated ability to identify, understand and assess trends and developments in data governance and AI, such as the proposed EU AI and digital packages, and to explain issues in a practical, results-focused manner;\nAbility to synthesize complex analysis into clear and consistent recommendations;\nAbility to prioritize and make decisions, and possess a high level of common sense, including the ability to see around the corner and spot risks before they materialize;\nStrong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface, and develop relationships, with all levels of management and staff, and work cross-culturally.\nBehaviours and Attributes\nHighly motivated and proactive, with the ability to articulate program scope and mission;\nCuriosity for learning about new technology, industry best practices, and areas of risk, analyzing and turning new insights into concrete action;\nStrong commitment to ethics, values and company culture;\nCommitted to building and maintaining a consistent global program;\nBuilding and maintaining a network of good working relationships both internally and externally; and\nFluent in English.\nEducation and Qualifications\nEducation: \nlaw degree (based on geography) or M.Sc. or comparable degree in (business) informatics, data science, information management, or adjacent subjects;\nRelevant certifications (such as in data privacy, data governance, audit, AI, Information Security) considered a plus.\nWork Experience: \nMinimum 2-3 years of experience in a (ideally global) compliance and ethics/governance function;\nKnowledge of data governance, data management principles, strategies and frameworks;\nKnowledge of and experience in monitoring legal and regulatory trends and developments and translating those into actionable requirements;\nStrong project management and organizational skills would be considered a plus.\nWork Requirements: \nNo travel required; \nAbility to work in the country stated in the requisition, or ownership of obtaining those credentials prior to an agreed start date;\nMust have ability to effectively work with others remotely, manage a schedule with global stakeholders.\nAbout Accenture\nAccenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world’s leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services-creating tangible value at speed and scale.
