The Work:

The Microsoft Power Platform Senior Developer is a key technical contributor responsible for designing, building, testing, and enhancing applications and automated solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform. This role operates within a cross-functional agile delivery team, translating user stories into high-quality technical solutions while ensuring system stability, security, and long-term maintainability. The developer will also support documentation, knowledge transfer, and troubleshooting efforts to ensure seamless delivery and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional agile teams to analyze and deliver user stories, features, and enhancements.  
• Develop customized solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and related components.
• Design, code, and implement Power Platform applications aligned with business requirements and technical best practices.
• Write unit tests and perform due diligence to confirm functionality meets acceptance criteria.
• Define development goals, estimates, and timelines to support agile delivery planning.
• Test application stability, performance, and functionality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues, including bugs and integration problems.
• Create technical documentation and deliver training to end users or project teams.
• Maintain the integrity and security of application software, including adherence to enterprise standards.

Here’s What You Need:

• Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform Developer Associate Certification (PL-400 or higher).
• 3+ years of experience as a software developer using object-oriented programming languages (Java, C#, C++), including at least 2 years of direct Java experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with low-code/no-code platforms such as Appian, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.; direct Microsoft Power Platform experience strongly desired.
• 3+ years of experience developing on relational database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB).
• 3+ years of data modeling experience, including creating and modifying standard and custom objects.
• 3+ years of experience developing with web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap).
• 3+ years of experience using JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and working with APIs to support low-code/no-code solutions.
• 3+ years of experience working on agile delivery teams (POs, testers, architects) and performing testing, debugging, root cause analysis, and authoring technical artifacts.
• 3+ years of experience using Git for branching/merging, code reviews, and pull requests.
• 2+ years of experience deploying Microsoft Power Platform applications.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience delivering enterprise-scale Power Platform applications.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security controls.
• Background supporting digital transformation initiatives or modernizing legacy workflows.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in distributed environments.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. $106,300—$206,200 USD
