You will work across the stack - React on the front end, Python on the back end - and own your code through to production on Azure or GCP. You will work in areas like FinTech, Retail, Consumer Goods and many more.\nYou will also be expected to work with AI coding assistants as a standard part of your toolkit. We are not looking for people who avoid them, nor for people who accept their output uncritically. We are looking for engineers who can direct these tools well, review what comes back with a sharp eye, and ship higher quality work faster as a result.\nYour day to day will include participating in daily scrums, shaping and implementing user stories end to end, writing tests, reviewing pull requests (human- and AI-authored), and maintaining the pipelines that get your work into production.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCollaborating with team members and clients to understand requirements and propose solutions\nBuilding responsive, accessible web applications with React and TypeScript\nDesigning and implementing APIs and back-end services in Python (FastAPI, Django or Flask)\nTranslating designs and wireframes into high quality, maintainable code\nDeploying and operating workloads on Azure and/or GCP, including containerized services\nBuilding and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and observability for the services you own\nUsing AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex) effectively - decomposing problems into good prompts, validating generated code, and applying the same review standards you would to any contribution\nWorking with Git and a team you will work together with our clients across different industries on either implementation or strategy design projects\n WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR?\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is essential\nHands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, plus solid HTML/CSS fundamentals\nHands-on experience with Python for back-end development, including REST API design\nWorking knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (Azure or GCP) is a strong plus\nExperience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS / GKE)\nExperience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep) is a strong plus\nFamiliarity with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, BigQuery or similar)\nPractical experience using AI coding assistants in real projects, with a clear view of where they help and where they need to be challenged\nDemonstrated ability to architect
