This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the quality, efficiency and commercial integrity of media activation across traditional and digital channels.\nYou’ll provide strategic leadership across media investment, programmatic activation, operational delivery and media-owner relationships, while building a high-performing implementation team equipped for an increasingly automated and AI-enabled media landscape.\nThe Work\nAs Group Implementation Director, you’ll:\nLead media investment governance across TV, BVOD, CTV, out-of-home, audio, digital, programmatic and retail media.\nOwn annual investment frameworks, trading commitments, deal structures, pricing benchmarks and value-delivery expectations.\nLead implementation planning across channels, connecting communications strategy and planning with media-partner responses and investment insights.\nEnsure media investment decisions are transparent, accountable and aligned with client objectives.\nOversee programmatic activation, including DSP governance, private marketplace curation, curated marketplaces, open exchange management and programmatic CTV and BVOD.\nEstablish standards across brand safety, viewability, supply quality, fraud prevention, audience activation and data-led targeting.\nLead senior media-owner negotiations to secure strong commercial outcomes, innovation opportunities and strategic partnerships.\nOversee media finance governance, including reconciliation, variance reporting, billing accuracy and commercial reporting.\nDesign scalable workflows, tools and processes that improve implementation quality and operational efficiency.\nIntegrate AI-enabled tools and automation into campaign setup, optimisation and post-campaign analysis with appropriate governance and quality controls.\nPartner with strategy, performance, data and technology teams to deliver seamless end-to-end campaigns.\nAct as a senior investment authority for clients, presenting recommendations, commercial outcomes and market intelligence.\nLead, develop and inspire a cross-channel implementation and investment team.\nBuild capability across emerging channels, new trading models and evolving media technologies.\nWhat you’ll bring\nYou’ll be an experienced media investment and implementation leader with strong commercial judgement, broad channel expertise and the ability to lead complex delivery environments.\nYou’ll ideally bring:\nExtensive media investment, implementation or trading experience within a leading media agency.\nExperience leading cross-channel media investment teams at Group Director, Head of or equivalent senior leadership level.\nExpert knowledge of the Australian media market across television, BVOD, CTV, out-of-home, audio, digital, programmatic and emerging retail media.\nStrong experience managing annual investment frameworks, commercial agreements and senior media-owner relationships.\nDeep programmatic knowledge across DSP governance, private marketplace curation, audience activation, open exchange management and programmatic CTV and BVOD.\nStrong commercial and negotiation skills, with a record of delivering measurable value for clients.\nExperience developing scalable operational workflows and maintaining delivery quality across complex accounts.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted media tools, automation and data-driven trading frameworks.\nStrong client-facing capability, with the confidence to present investment recommendations and commercial outcomes to senior stakeholders.\nExperience leading and developing multidisciplinary implementation and investment teams.\nA commitment to transparent, accountable and conflict-free media investment.\nWhy Accenture Song?\nWe’re not just buying media.
