We combine deep industrial engineeringexpertisewith advanced technologies to support complex energy and infrastructure projects across the full asset lifecycle.\nTheHV Power Lines Engineer will join theT&D Substations team within the Generation and Networks Unit, focusing on the design and calculation of overhead and underground high-voltage power lines.\nKey Responsabilities:\nPreliminary design and routing of HV/MV power lines.\n\nDesign and calculation of overhead and underground HV/MV power lines.\n\nDefine electrical and structural criteria for overhead and underground lines, including section, thermal, mechanical, and protection calculations.\n\nPrepare technical documentation: route drawings, layouts, calculation reports, and environmental and civil impact studies.\n\nPreparation of drawings and technical documents required to process grid access and connection applications to the transmission and distribution network.\n\nReview of HV/MV line engineering.\n\nDrafting and review of terms of reference and technical specifications.\n\nDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.\n\nAt least 3 years of experience in the design and calculation of HV/MV power lines, both overhead and underground.\n\nKnowledge of Spanish electrical regulations is a plus.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and experience with power line calculation software (PLS-CADD, PLS-TOWER, IMEDEXA, CYMCAD).\n\nWorking knowledge of BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) and GIS software (QGIS, GvSIG).\n\nExperience with electrical network modeling and simulation tools (e.g. DigSilent, ETAP, CAPE) and knowledge of utility standards and HV line design criteria is a plus.\n\nFluent in Portuguese & English; Spanish is a plus.\n\nStrong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously in multidisciplinary environments.\n\nGood organizational and prioritization skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.\n\nAbout Accenture\nAccenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world’s leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services-creating tangible value at speed and scale.
