You translate requirements into robust builds, optimize performance and cost, and lead incident/problem management. You mentor peers and raise engineering bar.\nThe Work:\nDesign and operate hardened Linux/Windows platforms; define baseline images, GPO/policies, and patch orchestration.\n\nEngineer automation with Terraform/Ansible and CI/CD (linting, testing, policy as code) to deliver immutable infrastructure.\n\nDefine monitoring SLO/SLA, dashboards, and alert strategies; drive capacity planning and performance tuning.\n\nIntegrate backups with application consistency; validate DR plans via regular exercises; refine RTO/RPO.\n\nImplement ITSG-33 controls across IAM, secrets, logging, encryption; coordinate evidence for audits.\n\nLead P1/P2 incident response, RCA, and corrective actions; design resilient patterns (clustering, HA, auto-scaling).\n\nEvolve ITIL processes; build runbooks and knowledge articles; mentor junior admins.\n\nCollaborate with Cloud, Network, and Security teams; support FinOps and cost optimization.\n\nAbility to work shifts/on-call; comfort working on-site in high-security environments.\nTravel may be required based on client demand. Preferred location: Ottawa.\nWhat You’ll Need\nMinimum 5 years of experience in system administration/engineering experience.\n\nStrong automation (Terraform/Ansible) and scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash).\n\nKubernetes/container fundamentals; hybrid private cloud familiarity.\n\nDemonstrated DR/BCP and incident leadership.\n\nBachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field.\n\nEligibility for Reliability Clearance.\n\nBonus Points If You Have\nEligible for Top Secret Security Clearance or currently holds Top Secret Security Clearance status.\n\nCertifications (RHCSA/RHCE, Microsoft, HashiCorp).\n\nObservability stack expertise (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).\n\nBilingual (English/French).\n\nCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,\nrole, skill set, and level of experience.
