This role blends deep infrastructure engineering expertise with strong advisory, program leadership, and executive-level client engagement. You will serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and senior technology leaders, helping them modernize, optimize, and future-proof their infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdvise senior client executives on infrastructure strategy, operating models, and technology transformation roadmaps\n\nLead complex infrastructure engineering programs, including cloud migration, data center transformation, resiliency/DR, and infrastructure modernization\n\nTranslate business objectives into actionable infrastructure architectures and delivery plans\n\nProvide thought leadership on emerging infrastructure trends (cloud, automation, resilience, cost optimization, AIOps)\n\nDesign and oversee end-to-end infrastructure engineering solutions across compute, storage, network, platform, and service management\n\nOwn delivery excellence, risk management, financial performance, and client satisfaction for large engagements\n\nSupport business development through solution shaping, executive workshops, and proposal leadership\n\nCore Technical & Advisory Skills:\nIntelligent Infrastructure Services & Architecture\nCompute, storage, network, virtualization, and platform services\n\nHybrid and multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred)\n\nResiliency, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery\n\nTransformation & Advisory\nInfrastructure strategy and roadmap development\n\nCloud adoption frameworks and migration factory models\n\nOperating model and organizational design\n\nCost optimization, FinOps, and infrastructure rationalization\n\nEngineering Excellence\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation\n\nDevOps, SRE, and modern infrastructure delivery practices\n\nTooling for observability, monitoring, and operational analytics\n\nLeadership & Communication\nExecutive-level communication and storytelling\n\nProgram and portfolio governance\n\nStakeholder management across business and technology leaders\n\nTeam leadership, coaching, and talent development\n\nTravel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.\nRequired Background & Experience\nMinimum 15 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, infrastructure engineering, or technology consulting\n\nMinimum 8 years in a leadership role delivering large-scale infrastructure or cloud programs\n\nBachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nInfrastructure architecture and engineering (on-premises, hybrid, and cloud) experience\n\nCloud transformation and migration programs (public, private, and hybrid cloud) experience\n\nInfrastructure operations, resiliency, and service transformation\n\nProven experience advising C-level and senior technology executives in large, complex enterprises\n\nStrong background in professional services, consulting, or enterprise technology environments\n\nExperience leading large, multi-vendor infrastructure programs\n\nStrong understanding of regulatory, security, and risk considerations in infrastructure design\n\nIndustry certifications (cloud, architecture, or infrastructure)\n\nExperience across regulated industries such as financial services, life sciences, or public sector\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nA balance of hands-on infrastructure engineering credibility and strategic advisory mindset\n\nThe ability to simplify complex technical topics for executive audiences\n\nA track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through infrastructure transformation\n\nPassion for building high-performing teams and developing future leaders\n\nCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
