You bring hands-on capability across frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, backend services, SQL, and database management systems. Curam experience is strong asset; candidates with a demonstrated willingness and ability to learn Curam will also be considered. You apply sound software engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle and collaborate effectively with Curam business analysts, UI/UX designers, experience designers, and automation engineers. You are also interested in using Agentic AI capabilities to improve development productivity, solution delivery, and user outcomes.\nThe Work\nYou will be part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team responsible for designing, building, configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting Curam-based solutions. You will implement product features across the full technology stack and translate functional requirements into secure, maintainable technical solutions.\nYou will own or contribute to Curam technical design, user story creation and refinement, application configuration and customization, code implementation, deployment, unit testing, and defect resolution. You will work closely with multidisciplinary partners to ensure solutions meet business, usability, quality, and delivery objectives.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop full stack application components using Java, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and related web and database technologies.\nBuild maintainable, reusable, and testable code that follows established architecture, development, security, and accessibility standards.\nPrepare and deploy application code across development and test environments using established release and configuration-management processes.\nPerform unit testing, support integration and system testing, analyze defects, and deliver timely bug fixes.\nTroubleshoot application, integration, data, and environment issues and contribute to root-cause analysis and permanent resolution.\nParticipate in code reviews, design reviews, sprint ceremonies, technical discussions, and continuous-improvement activities.\nSupport application releases, production validation, ongoing maintenance, and operational issue resolution.\nHere's What You Need: (skills)\nBachelor Degree or College Diploma or equivalent work experience\nAtleast 2 -3 years of overall experience in JAVA development\nDemonstrated experience developing enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies.\nHands-on experience with frontend web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\nStrong knowledge of SQL, relational data concepts, and database management systems.\nExperience designing and implementing both frontend and backend components for enterprise web applications.\nExperience with object-oriented design, service integration, application architecture, and secure coding practices.\nFamiliarity with Agentic AI concepts and the ability to apply AI-enabled tools responsibly within software delivery workflows.\nUnderstanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile delivery practices, and DevOps principles.\nExperience writing unit tests, diagnosing defects, and supporting integration and system testing.\nExperience with build, deployment, configuration-management, and CI/CD practices.\nExperience using Git or a comparable source-control system and working effectively in collaborative development workflows.\nStrong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, and technical documentation skills.\nExcellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder-collaboration skills\nMust have Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain it.\nEnglish is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language.
