Visit us at \n#LI-GM\n\nJob Summary:\nWe are looking for a Junior Infrastructure Engineer with experience in Windows Server administration and infrastructure automation to support and maintain enterprise platform environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for server administration, system monitoring, Active Directory management, backup and recovery operations, and automation through scripting. This role offers the opportunity to work across both Windows and multi-platform environments while supporting critical business applications and infrastructure services\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nAdminister, maintain, and support Windows Server 2019 and above environments.\nDevelop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell to improve operational efficiency.\nMonitor server performance, system health, and capacity utilization, and perform performance tuning activities.\nManage and support Active Directory services, including user and group administration.\nExecute backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure system availability and data integrity.\nTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents, service requests, and performance issues.\nSupport application deployments and platform maintenance activities.\nCollaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams to ensure platform stability and reliability.\nAssist in patch management, security compliance, and system upgrades.\nMaintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support knowledge repositories.\nProvide support for hybrid environments with exposure to Linux/Unix systems.\n\nRequired Skills:\n3-5 years of experience in infrastructure support, system administration, or platform engineering.\nHands-on experience with Windows Server 2019 and above.\nStrong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.\nExperience with Active Directory administration.\nKnowledge of server monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity management.\nExperience in backup and recovery operations.\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, firewalls, and load balancing.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.\n\nNice-to-Have Skills:\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL).\nExposure to Linux, Unix, or AIX operating systems.\nScripting knowledge in Bash and/or Python.\nExperience with OpenText AppWorks.\nFamiliarity with enterprise monitoring and infrastructure management tools.\nRelevant Microsoft or infrastructure-related certifications.\n\nYou will also have opportunities to hone your functional skills and expertise in an area of specialization.
