This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are looking to build a career in Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering. \nThe ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), strong analytical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.\nThe candidate should also be open to leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, support test design activities, and enhance overall testing effectiveness.\nYou will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, senior testers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities: \nReview and understand business, functional, and technical requirements.\nAssist in the creation of test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on project requirements.\nParticipate in requirement refinement discussions and contribute to identifying potential quality risks.\nExecute manual tests for web, mobile, API, and desktop applications under the guidance of senior team members.\nUtilize AI-assisted tools to support test case creation, requirement analysis, and testing activities.\nPerform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, Exploratory, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support activities.\nIdentify, document, and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.\nVerify defect fixes and execute regression tests to validate system stability.\nCollaborate with developers and project teams to resolve issues and clarify requirements.\nSupport API testing activities using Postman (or similar tools) and perform basic database validations using SQL.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.\nMaintain accurate test execution records and provide regular status updates.\nContinuously learn and adopt best practices in software testing and quality engineering.\nRequired Skills: \n0-2 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or related IT roles.\nBasic understanding of SDLC, STLC, Defect Life Cycle, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nKnowledge of Functional testing concepts and testing techniques.\nExposure to Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing.\nFamiliarity with test case design and defect reporting practices.\nBasic knowledge of AI-assisted tools and willingness to leverage them in testing activities.\nFamiliarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tracking tools.\nBasic understanding of SQL and API testing concepts (Postman or similar tools).\nFamiliarity with browser Developer Tools is an advantage.\nStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.\nEagerness to learn and grow in the field of Quality Engineering.\nUnderstanding of Agile development practices.\nExposure to test automation concepts is an advantage but not required.\nAcademic Qualifications: \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Applied Computing, Engineering, or a related field.\nRelevant testing or technology certifications will be considered an advantage.\nISTQB Foundation Level Certification (or willingness to pursue certification) is a plus.\nAbout Accenture\nAccenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world’s leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services-creating tangible value at speed and scale.
