Summary:
As an LLM Model Developer, a typical day involves refining and adapting large language models to better suit specific domains and instructions. This role requires continuous experimentation and adjustment of model parameters to improve accuracy and relevance. Collaboration with various teams to align model outputs with project goals is a key part of daily activities, alongside monitoring model performance and implementing enhancements to meet evolving requirements. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation to ensure the models deliver optimal results in diverse applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and deployment of model fine-tuning strategies to improve domain-specific performance.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster skill development and innovation.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate model improvements into production environments.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, API Management, Prompt Engineering, Agentic AI, Python Framework .
- Strong expertise in fine-tuning techniques for large-scale language models with a focus on instruction and domain adaptation.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable API solutions to support model integration and deployment.
- Ability to develop and optimize prompt engineering strategies to enhance model responsiveness and accuracy.
- Familiarity with model evaluation metrics and performance monitoring tools to ensure continuous improvement.
- Competence in collaborating with data scientists and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
