SAP Program/Project Manager

About the Role

Accenture is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex SAP transformation programs and projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, managing stakeholders, and delivering measurable value through effective planning, governance, and risk management.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, business leaders, and technology stakeholders to drive project success while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of SAP projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Define project scope, objectives, governance structures, and delivery strategies in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules, resource allocation, budgets, dependencies, and delivery risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive stakeholder engagement through clear, proactive, and transparent communication, ensuring alignment of expectations and timely escalation of issues.
• Monitor project performance using key metrics and reporting frameworks, identifying opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and outcomes.
• Facilitate collaboration across multiple teams, workstreams, and functions to resolve complex challenges and support successful project execution.
• Lead risk, issue, and change management activities while ensuring effective mitigation plans are implemented.
• Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a high-performance culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Promote the adoption of project management best practices, lessons learned, and delivery standards across engagement teams.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale SAP implementation, transformation, or enhancement projects.
• Expert-level proficiency in Program and Project Management with demonstrated success delivering complex projects in a matrixed environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and delivery best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of scope management, project estimation, planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at multiple organizational levels.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
• Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Familiarity with Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery approaches.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams and global stakeholders.
