Visit us here to find out more about Accenture's SAP practice.\nYou are:\nAn SAP Release Manager is accountable for the end-to-end planning, governance, and operational control of all SAP environments (e.g., DEV, QA, UAT, PRE-PROD, PROD) to ensure that projects, enhancements, testing cycles, and production operations can proceed predictably, safely, and without conflict. The role owns the environment strategy and day-to-day orchestration across the SAP landscape, acting as the single point of coordination between projects, AMS, release management, Basis, testing teams, and business stakeholders.\nThe work:\nOwns the overall SAP release and environment strategy and governance across all landscapes.\nDefines and enforces environment usage rules, refresh policies, access standards, and naming conventions aligned with SAP and enterprise governance.\nEnsures environments are used appropriately for their intended purpose (build, test, training, cutover, production).\n\nPlans, schedules, and controls the build, testing, and deployment of SAP releases, delivering new functionality required by the business while protecting the integrity and stability of existing services.\nPlans, schedules, and controls environment usage across:Projects\nAMS enhancements and defect fixes\nRegression testing cycles\nMaintenance and technical upgrades\n\nManages who is using which environment, when, proactively resolving conflicts between concurrent initiatives. Coordinates the bundling of major and minor releases, including projects, AMS enhancements, and defect fixes, to ensure all components are ready for integrated testing and deployment within the agreed release schedule.\nMaintains a single integrated environment calendar covering releases, testing windows, refreshes, freezes, and maintenance periods.\nEnsures a smooth transition from BUILD to RUN, including release readiness and stakeholder coordination. Ensures all stakeholders are informed of upcoming releases and that the elements required to deploy and operate the services and products are delivered, controlled, and traceable.\n\nCoordinates with SAP Basis teams to proactively monitor and manage S/4HANA system performance and technical readiness for releases.\nEnsures SAP Basis best practices, including kernel updates, HANA tuning, and job scheduling reviews, are appropriately planned and coordinated with the responsible technical teams.\nEnsures appropriate preventive maintenance regimes are in place, including monitoring relevant SAP Notes and coordinating required updates.\nCoordinates regular environment health checks and drives related improvement initiatives with SAP Basis and technical teams.\n\n3 days in office is required\nHere's what you need:\n10-12 years of SAP Release Management experience.\nWorking knowledge of SAP Basis/BTP and SAP release and environment management is required.\nEnglish is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language.
