By combining deep industry experience, data, digital technologies, and AI-driven innovation, we help clients drive greater efficiency, resilience, and business value throughout the product and asset lifecycle.\nRole Summary\nThe SDx / Octave Solution Architect is responsible for designing and guiding the overall SDx solution.\nThe role works with business teams, technical teams, integration teams, data migration teams, and infrastructure teams to make sure the SDx solution meets business needs and technical standards.\nThe Solution Architect supports the project from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign the overall SDx solution.\nLead solution design workshops.\nCreate architecture diagrams and solution designs.\nMake sure business processes, data, integrations, security, and SDx capabilities work together.\nDefine architecture standards and best practices.\nProvide guidance on SDx / Octave capabilities.\nHelp teams use standard SDx functionality wherever possible.\nMinimize unnecessary customization.\nReview object models, metadata, workflows, and security.\nEstablish data quality and information governance standards.\nProvide architecture support during build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.\nReview solution designs and technical documents.\nHelp resolve technical issues and architecture decisions.\nIdentify risks and dependencies.\nWork closely with project managers and technical leads.\nHelp stakeholders make architecture decisions.\nPresent solution recommendations to leadership.\nGuide and mentor project teams.\nRequired Experience\n10+ years of experience with technical information, asset management, PLM, EIM, or similar solutions.\n5+ years of Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect experience.\nExperience delivering large transformation programs.\nExperience with SDx, Hexagon, Digital Twin, PLM, EIM, or similar platforms.\nStrong hands-on experience with Hexagon SDx / Octave SDx.\nStrong knowledge of SDx architecture, configuration, data model, objects, relationships, metadata, workflows, and security.\nExperience designing and implementing SDx solutions for technical information and document management.\nExperience configuring SDx while maximizing out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities and minimizing customization.\nExperience with SDx document lifecycles, technical work processes, and change control.\nExperience with SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) is strongly preferred.\nundefined\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.\nEnglish is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language.
