Choose Accenture and make delivering innovative work part of your extraordinary career.\nWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Security Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) consultant, to perform complex security risk management and assurance activities across systems and applications.\nAs a highly performing and proficient consultant, the GRC Consultant is responsible for driving quality outcomes to meet customer expectations, either autonomously or under the direction of other team members. This position works closely with security lead, architects, project teams and cyber security specialists to work through the authorisation lifecycle and ensure consistent alignment with organisational security policies, legislative and regulatory obligations and Australian government frameworks to support effective security governance, risk management, compliance and assurance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nConduct risk assessments to identify, evaluate and mitigate security risks across projects and operational environments.\nPrepare and maintain risk assessments and accreditation documentation.\nPrepare and present high-quality reports detailing security issues, providing security recommendations and identifying solutions\nOn-going monitor and report on emerging risks, treatment progress and residual risks.\nAssist in continuous monitoring of controls for audits and compliances.\nDevelop and maintain security policies, procedures and plans to ensure effective governance\nLiaise with authorising officers, system owners and project teams to ensure security assessments and documentation meet the standards.\nProvide security advisory on ISM, Essential Eight, PSPF and other Australian Government framework on security control posture.\nEssential for this role:\nProven experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) within Australian Government environments\nStrong understanding of Australian PSPF, Essential 8, ISM cybersecurity principles and NIST guidelines\nExperience supporting Security authorisation and assurance processes\nAbility to review and interpret technical designs and business requirements from a Security governance and risk perspective\nQualifications and Skills:\nEducation & Certifications\nBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.\nCertifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISSP, IRAP Assessor, or equivalent security accreditation experience preferred.\n\nSecurity Clearance\nActive/Inactive NV1 Security Clearance\nAustralian Citizens with ability to obtain a clearance considered\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the Security Risk, Compliance, and Architecture domain within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
