Summary:
As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and performance standards. This role includes creating detailed documentation of security controls and overseeing the smooth transition of these controls into managed cloud security operations. The position requires continuous evaluation and refinement of security architecture to support evolving business needs and ensure robust protection within the cloud environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security architecture with business strategies.
- Monitor and assess emerging security threats and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Assist junior team members in understanding security frameworks and operational procedures.
- Continuously review and improve cloud security policies and practices to enhance overall security posture.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Security Operations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Experience with designing and implementing security controls in cloud environments.
- Ability to analyze complex security requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
- Familiarity with security monitoring tools and incident response processes.
- Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Network Security Operations.
- This position is based at our DDC 1 - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
