What would you do? Manage planning, procurement, distribution and aftermarket service supply chain operations, helping clients realize $5 for every $1 spent on our servicesFulfill in supply chain planning refers to the process of completing customer orders by ensuring products are picked, packed, and delivered efficiently. It involves managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer expectations. The goal is to ensure that orders are accurately and promptly fulfilled.Plan the inventory or capacity that will be used to fulfill customer orders and determine transportation or delivery of the product through the supply chain.
What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) are a plus
- Experience:o 5+ years of experience in replenishment, inventory management, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleo Experience managing perishable goods, particularly in the fresh produce and floral categories, is highly preferredo Knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) and replenishment softwareo Familiarity with handling supply chain challenges related to perishables, such as lead time management, spoilage, and seasonal demand fluctuations
- Skills:o Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions about inventory levels, order quantities, and product replenishmento Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teamso Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmento A keen eye for detail, especially in managing product quality, shelf life, and waste reductionPreferred Qualifications
- Replenishment Planning:o Lead and manage the replenishment process for fresh produce and floral products, ensuring that inventory levels are accurately aligned with demand forecasts, seasonal trends, and sales patternso Work closely with demand planning, merchandising, and sales teams to develop and execute replenishment strategies based on customer demand and inventory turnover rates
- Inventory Management:o Monitor inventory levels for fresh and floral products to ensure availability while minimizing overstock and product wasteo Track product shelf life and implement strategies to rotate stock, reduce spoilage, and improve stock rotation for perishableso Implement best practices for managing the lifecycle of fresh products, ensuring timely ordering and delivery to maintain optimal freshness
- Supplier & Vendor Coordination:o Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors for fresh and floral categories, ensuring timely replenishment and quality controlo Coordinate closely with suppliers to manage lead times, deliveries, and ensure product availability in alignment with sales forecasts and promotionso Work with vendors to resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery delays, or order d
