The role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise, delivery leadership, client advisory, and team management capabilities. The individual will drive SOC modernization initiatives across SIEM, SOAR, detection engineering, telemetry engineering, cloud security monitoring, and AI-enabled security operations.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nSOC Engineering & Transformation\nLead end-to-end SOC implementation, modernization, and transformation programs.\nDesign and optimize SIEM, SOAR, detection engineering, and security monitoring capabilities.\nDefine SOC architecture, operating models, use-case strategies, and transformation roadmaps.\nDrive SOC automation, orchestration, and operational efficiency initiatives.\nDetection & Telemetry Engineering\nDevelop and enhance detection use-cases aligned to MITRE ATT&CK and threat intelligence.\nDesign and optimize security telemetry pipelines, log onboarding, normalization, parsing, enrichment, and ingestion strategies.\nImprove detection coverage, alert fidelity, and threat visibility across enterprise environments.\nCloud Security Monitoring\nDesign and integrate security monitoring for Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.\nImplement cloud security use-cases across IAM, workload security, containers, network security, DevSecOps, and data protection.\nIntegrate cloud-native security controls, CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, and CIEM capabilities into SOC operations.\nClient Advisory & Leadership\nAct as a trusted advisor to CISOs and senior client stakeholders.\nLead workshops, architecture discussions, solutioning sessions, and transformation planning.\nBuild strong client relationships and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.\nSupport proposals, RFPs, estimation, and executive presentations.\nPeople & Delivery Management\nLead and mentor teams of 10-30 cybersecurity professionals.\nEnsure delivery quality, stakeholder satisfaction, governance, and risk management.\nBalance architecture, technical oversight, and delivery leadership responsibilities.\nKey Points :\n- A Data Privacy SME with strong domain expertise, prior experience in implementing privacy tools such as Security, One Trust, Trust Arc, etc., and hands-on exposure to GDPR and/or DPDPA programs.\nProfessional & Technical Skills:\n12-16 years of cybersecurity experience with strong focus on SOC implementation, engineering, and transformation.\nHands-on experience with SIEM and SOAR platforms preferred experience with:\no Microsoft Sentinel\no Google SecOps\no Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM\nStrong expertise in detection engineering, use-case development, threat hunting, and security monitoring.\nExperience in telemetry engineering, log onboarding, parser development, and security data architecture.\nGood understanding of cloud security monitoring across Azure, AWS, and GCP.\nExperience in client-facing delivery, stakeholder management, and relationship building.\nProven people leadership experience managing medium to large cybersecurity teams.\nGood to Have\nSOC maturity assessments and SOC operating model design.\nData security technologies including DLP, DSPM, DAM, encryption, and privacy controls.\nManaged SOC / MDR experience.\nExposure to OT/IoT security monitoring.\nPre-sales, solutioning, and large transformation program experience.\nEmerging Skills (Preferred)\nExperience with GenAI-enabled SOC capabilities, AI-assisted investigations, automated triage, and analyst copilots.\nExposure to Agentic / Autonomous SOC concepts, AI-driven incident response, and autonomous investigation workflows.\nExperience with AI-enabled security platforms such as Microsoft Security Copilot, Google SecOps AI capabilities, or Cortex XSIAM.\nPreferred Certifications\nCISSP, CISM, CCSP\nMicrosoft SC-100, SC-200\nAWS Security Specialty\nGoogle Professional Cloud Security Engineer\nMicrosoft Sentinel / Google SecOps / Cortex XSIAM related certifications\nGIAC (GCIH, GCIA, GMON, GCFA)\nIdeal Candidate: A client-centric SOC transformation leader who can combine deep technical expertise with delivery excellence, stakeholder management, team leadership, and next-generation AI-driven SOC capabilities.\nLocation: NCR.
