Project Role : Technology Support Engineer

Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Summary:

Experienced Storage & Backup Administrator managing Rubrik, Avamar, and Veeam backup environments and enterprise storage platforms (PowerStore, NetApp, Pure Storage, EMC VNX, Synology). Responsible for leading storage and backup modernization programs, including migration to Rubrik as the centralized backup solution and PowerStore-to-NetApp storage migration initiatives, while ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Manage enterprise backup solutions including Rubrik, Avamar, and Veeam to ensure data protection, recovery, and compliance.

- Lead backup modernization initiatives, including migration from Veeam and Avamar to Rubrik as the centralized backup platform.

- Administer enterprise storage platforms including Dell PowerStore, NetApp, Pure Storage, EMC VNX and Synology NAS

- Perform storage provisioning, capacity management, performance optimization, and SAN administration.

- Leading storage transformation projects, including migration from PowerStore to NetApp and storage lifecycle management activities.

- Execute storage and backup infrastructure upgrades, refreshes, decommissioning, and disaster recovery readiness activities.

- Collaborate with CloudOps, Infrastructure, Application, and Security teams to support business-critical services.

- Ensure backup success, storage availability, incident resolution, change implementation, and operational compliance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Netapp Network Attached Storage (NAS) Administration.

- Strong understanding of storage system architecture and data management principles.

- Experience in incident and problem management within complex IT environments.

- Ability to create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) following organizational processes.

- Skilled in collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues effectively.

- Competence in maintaining and updating technical documentation to support operational stability.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Netapp Network Attached Storage (NAS) Administration.

- This position is based at our PDC3B - SEZ location.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
