About the Role
Accenture is seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Lead (Senior Manager) to drive large-scale SAP transformation programs with a focus on data migration strategy, execution, and governance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality, business-ready data that enables successful SAP S/4HANA implementations and supports long-term business value.
As a senior leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, guide technical and functional teams, and shape data migration approaches that align with business objectives, delivery timelines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP data migration strategy, planning, execution, and governance for complex transformation programs.
- Define and implement scalable data migration frameworks, methodologies, and best practices aligned with SAP S/4HANA standards.
- Partner with business, functional, and technical teams to gather data requirements and ensure successful data readiness.
- Oversee data assessment, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and migration activities across multiple workstreams.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring effective delivery, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive issue resolution and decision-making related to data quality, migration design, and deployment readiness.
- Establish governance processes, controls, and reporting mechanisms to monitor migration progress and quality metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize migration processes, tools, and delivery approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP Data Migration, including leadership responsibilities on complex transformation programs.
- Expert-level proficiency in SAP Data Migration methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships across multiple business areas.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities in complex project environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise-scale SAP transformation or ERP modernization programs.
- Advanced proficiency in data quality management and data governance practices.
- Advanced proficiency in automated cutover planning and migration execution tools.
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms supporting migration and transformation initiatives.
- Intermediate proficiency in Data Analysis.
- Intermediate proficiency in Process Optimization.
- Relevant SAP certifications are advantageous.
