It is personal to all of us.” - Julie Sweet, Accenture CEO\nRole Summary\nThe Travel Security Senior Manager leads the governance, and continuous evolution of Accenture's global Travel Security Program.\nThis role is responsible for enabling business travel while ensuring a consistent, risk-based approach that strengthens duty of care, supports informed decision-making, and protects Accenture people globally.\nAs part of the Global Protection & Security organization, the role serves as the global owner of the Travel Security program, establishing standards, governance, and performance measures that support a highly dynamic international business environment. Working closely with Regional Protective Services, Intelligence, Mobility, Legal, HR, Procurement, and business leadership, the Travel Security Senior Manager ensures Travel Security considerations are embedded into business operations and traveller support.\nThe role acts as the global Center of Excellence for Travel Security, driving program maturity, technology enablement, regulatory travel assessments, ensuring recommendations align with established risk criteria and current operating conditions.\nEnsure scalable processes exist for assessing, approving, monitoring, and supporting travel across diverse business environments.\nDevelop and maintain destination risk classification methodologies and associated mitigation standards.\nPromote awareness of Travel Security responsibilities through traveller education, communication, and engagement initiatives.\nTechnology, Data & Vendor Management\nOwn the governance of traveller tracking, intelligence, risk assessment, case management, and reporting platforms.\nEnsure technology capabilities support operational delivery, traveller safety, governance requirements, and business needs.\nLead relationships with external travel security providers and technology partners, including performance management and service reviews.\nDrive automation, reporting enhancement, and data-driven decision making across the program.\nProgram Performance & Reporting\nDevelop and maintain program KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.\nAnalyse travel exposure, traveller populations, incidents, compliance trends, and program effectiveness.\nPrepare executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations to improve program performance and maturity.\nImplement lessons learned and continual improvement processes following significant incidents or events.\nCompliance & Integration\nEnsure Travel policies, procedures, and controls related to security meet legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.\nLead the Travel Security integration of acquisitions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and operating practices.\nMonitor emerging industry developments and recommend updates to program standards, controls, and governance frameworks.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.\n8+ years of experience in Travel Security, corporate security, risk management, crisis management, global mobility, or a related discipline.\nProven experience designing, implementing, and leading global programs within a complex multinational organization.\nExperience developing governance frameworks, operational standards, and enterprise-wide processes.\nDemonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage competing priorities across a matrixed environment.\nAbility to support crisis response and incident management activities outside normal business hours when required.\nPreferred Experience & Skills\nExperience leading a global Travel Security program.\nStrong knowledge of ISO 31030 and Travel Risk Management best practices.\nExperience supporting multinational organizations with significant international travel requirements.\nExperience integrating acquired organizations into enterprise security or risk management programs.\nFamiliarity with traveller tracking, travel intelligence, risk assessment, and incident management platforms.\nExperience supporting international traveller incidents and crisis response activities.\nExperience developing executive reporting, performance metrics, and governance dashboards.\nProfessional certification in security, risk management, business continuity, crisis management, or a related field.\nAdditional Requirements\nWillingness to work non-standard hours
