The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Cloud Native Applications & DevSecOps (DSOP), including automation, cloud services, container orchestration & software development. This role requires a strong foundation in Linux engineering with skills in containerization technologies, CICD, and experience working in public and private clouds. The candidate will have a proven track record in automating software deployments and implementing solutions to accelerate release cycles. This role’s core responsibility revolves around empowering development teams with a robust platform that streamlines processes and enhances collaboration. \nCore Responsibilities: \nImplement, maintain, and support build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, utilizing tools such as Kubernetes, Gitlab, ArgoCD, etc, across hybrid cloud computing environments. \nRead and understand various application programming interfaces (APIs) and implement automation as required. \nDevelop & Improve automation for efficient deployment and management of cloud resources using tools such as Terraform, Ansible. \nIntegrate security and compliance into the platform by implementing services such as encryption and access management to meet DISA STIGs compliance with security standards and policies across hybrid containerized environments. \nCollaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. \nAssist development teams with implementing containerized deployments utilizing tools such as Kustomize, Helm and Docker/Podman. \nAccount for disaster recovery scenarios, implement & test backup and recovery procedures. \nMonitor the environment for performance metrics and alerts, identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions. \nStay abreast of latest DevSecOps and Cloud Native technologies and work with stakeholders to recommend more efficient solutions. \nRequired Skills & Experience: \nBachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years' direct experience with any of the following: \nExperience with Linux/Unix Administration. \n\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes. \n\nProficient in one or more computer programming languages commonly used in scripting & automation. Such as, but not limited to Bash, Python, Go, Rust \n\nDemonstrated experience in automating cloud deployments and developing infrastructure as code (IaC). \n\nAmazing to Have: \nPossess and maintain relevant DoD 8570/8140 IAT level II Certification\nFamiliarity with open-source tooling, contributing to open-source tools, ability to find root cause and open useful issues. \nPrior experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Consul, Linkerd) \nBackground in VMWARE vSphere and Amazon Web Services (AWS) \nProficient in applying DISA STIGs within cloud and containerized environments. \nPossess one or more of the following certifications:\nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)\nCertified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)\nAWS DevOps Professional\nGIAC Cloud Security Automation\nHashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate or equivalent experience \nClearance:\nAn Active TS/SCI is required\n#LI-Defense \nAs required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia.
