Occupancy sensors\n\n2. Air quality monitors\n\n3. Smart lighting systems\n\n4. CCTV systems\n\n5. Building Management Systems (BMS)\n\n- Manage the complete IoT device lifecycle, from device onboarding and configuration through firmware updates, certificate management, monitoring, and decommissioning.\n\n- Support device-to-cloud communication, application integration, data flows, and troubleshooting across the IoT ecosystem.\n\n- Work across OT and IT environments, ensuring seamless integration between operational technology systems and enterprise IT infrastructure.\n\n- Work with industrial and building automation protocols such as Modbus, OPC-UA, and BACnet.\n\n- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, engineering, facilities, and application teams.\n\n- Participate in security architecture reviews, structured change-control processes, and multi-team approval workflows.\n\n- Ensure IoT deployments meet enterprise security, reliability, scalability, and compliance requirements.\n\n- Troubleshoot device connectivity, protocol, configuration, application integration, and lifecycle-management issues.\n\n- Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of IoT deployment and device-management processes.\n\nEssential / Non-Negotiable Skills :\n\n- Strong hands-on experience in IoT application-layer engineering and device-to-cloud integration.\n\n- Strong understanding of how IoT devices communicate with application servers, with MQTT as a primary protocol.\n\n- Hands-on experience configuring and managing IoT devices at the device/application layer, rather than only managing the underlying network infrastructure.\n\n- Experience with IoT endpoint/device lifecycle management, including device onboarding, configuration, firmware upgrades, certificate lifecycle management, monitoring, and decommissioning.\n\n- Experience working across OT/IT convergence environments.\n\n- Strong understanding of enterprise IoT architecture, device communication, application integration, and data flows.\n\nPreferred Experience :\n\n- Candidates from the following backgrounds are strongly preferred: Smart Building / Building Automation / BMS, Industrial IoT (IIoT), OT/IT integration, Enterprise IoT deployments, IoT companies where device-to-cloud engineering is a core function, and IoT solutions deployed within financial services or other regulated environments.\n\nGood-to-Have Skills :\n\n- Experience with Modbus, OPC-UA, and BACnet.\n\n- Experience with building automation systems and smart building platforms.\n\n- Experience with IoT security, certificates, device identity, and secure device communication.\n\n- Exposure to cloud-based IoT platforms and enterprise application integration.\n\n- Experience working in regulated environments such as Financial Services, Pharmaceutical / GMP, Government, or other highly regulated industries.\n\nRegulatory & Governance Experience :\n\n- The candidate should be comfortable working within structured enterprise governance environments, including change control and release management, security architecture review processes, risk and compliance assessments, multi-team technical approval workflows, and enterprise security and technology standards.\n\nIdeal Candidate Profile :\n\n- The strongest candidates will come from Smart Building, Building Automation, Industrial IoT, or enterprise IoT organizations where they have directly worked on the device-to-cloud/application integration layer.\n\n- Candidates whose experience is limited to network infrastructure, connectivity, or traditional
