This role ensures that all sites are clean, safe, and prepared for construction activities, while coordinating with laborers and responding to emergencies as needed.\nEnsure all sites are set up and maintained in a clean and organized manner, including moving equipment or materials, cleaning roads, controlling dust, and preparing surfaces for construction activities in all seasons.\nMove union labour effectively between different construction sites as needed, providing consistent support and coordination across locations.\nOversee and coordinate work of labourers, ensuring they perform on schedule and in accordance with safety protocols and union agreements.\nEnsure labourers operate basic construction equipment and tools only as qualified, following proper safety procedures while verifying training records.\nRespond to and work during emergencies to ensure the safety and continuity of site operations.\nMaintain effective communication with supervisor and team members to balance labor resources while ensuring smooth workflow and project progress among competing demands.\nPerform other related duties as assigned including detailed work ticket or timesheet reviews, promoting a positive team environment and a culture of collaboration and accountability.\nWork Conditions:\nAble to perform in a fast-paced environment.\nMay require working extended hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet project deadlines.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nPreferred Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant experience may offset educational requirements.\nKnowledge of construction processes, material handling, and site preparation.\n3-5 years of proven experience in construction or a related field, in large and complex construction project/ industrial project/ logistic project.\nMust possess a valid Ontario Driving license G or G2.\nProven ability to manage multiple locations and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.\nProblem-solving and organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAttention to details, strong communication and teamwork abilities.\nCommitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.\nWe are committed to creating an accessible and barrier-free recruitment process and workplace.
