ACCIONA Energía is governed by the most demanding environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria.\nWe are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Team Lead to provide technical leadership and coordinate a high-performing engineering team supporting projects across development, construction and operations.Reporting to the Senior Manager, BOP Engineering, this position will lead a team of civil engineers responsible for delivering high-quality engineering outcomes across wind, solar and energy infrastructure projects. This position will provide technical direction, oversee engineering deliverables, manage team priorities and support the professional growth of the team while ensuring engineering excellence and safety remain at the forefront.\nJob Description\nLead and develop a high-performing Civil Engineering team, providing technical leadership, coaching and mentorship while fostering a collaborative and safety-focused culture.\nOversee the delivery and review of civil engineering activities across project development, detailed design, procurement and construction phases.\nProvide technical governance and assurance for engineering designs, studies, specifications and project deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practice.\nSupport project planning, CAPEX estimating, tender evaluations, value engineering and constructability reviews to optimise project outcomes.\nManage and coordinate engineering consultants, contractors and key stakeholders across multidisciplinary project teams.\nProvide technical support during construction and operations, including design reviews, issue resolution, site inspections, defect investigations and asset improvement initiatives.\nContribute to the successful delivery and ongoing performance of renewable energy and infrastructure assets through effective engineering leadership and decision-making.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nA degree in Civil Engineering and eligibility for, or attainment of, Chartered and/or Registered Professional Engineer status (RPEQ/RPEV).\n10+ years' experience in civil engineering design, technical assurance or construction support within infrastructure, roads or energy projects.\nDemonstrated experience leading engineering teams and managing external consultants and contractors.\nStrong knowledge of engineering standards, design review processes and technical governance.\nProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.\nExcellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.\nExperience within renewable energy projects, project management qualifications, multinational environments and/or Spanish language skills will be highly regarded.\nAs a company that values diversity as a source of talent, we work to foster an inclusive environment that promotes respect, belonging and engagement so that all people can participate on an equal opportunity basis.
