The project plays a key role in strengthening Australia’s Defence capability and is delivered in a highly regulated environment with strict quality, safety and compliance standards.\nAbout the Opportunity\nWe are seeking a Shift Supervisor with a civil background in drainage, excavation, pavements, FRP, and concrete.\nKey accountabilities\nSupervise civil and structural construction activities in line with program, safety, quality & environmental requirements\nCoordinate subcontractors, plant and materials to ensure efficient site operations\nConduct site inspections and maintain daily reporting and records\nEnsure compliance with Defence standards, specifications and quality systems\nAct as a safety ambassador on site, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance with health and safety requirements\nMonitor progress and assist with planning and sequencing of works\nTrack site activities and costs, ensuring works are delivered in line with the approved budget and identifying any variances\nContribute to risk management, issue resolution and continuous improvement on site\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nProven experience in a Supervisor role across civil and structural scopes on infrastructure or building projects\nStrong understanding of site-based construction delivery, quality and safety systems\nStrong leadership, communication and organisational skills\nTeam-focused mindset with the ability to drive performance on site\nDue to Defence security requirements, applicants must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.\nWhat we offer\nAt ACCIONA, you will contribute to meaningful infrastructure that supports Australia’s long-term Defence capability.
