Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.\nACCIONA, in its Construction Business Line, is looking for a Commercial & Contracts Manager based in the Philippines for a mega infrastructure project.Job Description\nThe Commercial & Contracts Manager is responsible for leading the commercial and contractual management of the project from contract award through to final account close-out. The role ensures effective contract administration, protects the company’s commercial interests, and oversees subcontract management, procurement, claims, variations and commercial risk.\nKey Responsibilities\nAct as the main commercial and contractual interface with clients, consultants and other external stakeholders.\n\nLead commercial meetings, negotiations and contract-related reviews.\n\nProvide commercial and contractual advice to the Project Director and Project Management Team.\n\nManage the project contract in accordance with FIDIC conditions, including notices, correspondence and contractual compliance.\n\nIdentify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.\n\nLead the management of claims, variations, extensions of time and contractual entitlements.\n\nDevelop and implement commercial and contractual management procedures.\n\nLead subcontract procurement, administration and negotiations, ensuring appropriate terms and best value.\n\nOversee interim payment applications, contractual valuations and final account submissions.\n\nPrepare and present commercial reports on claims, changes and contract status.\n\nLead and supervise the commercial, contracts and procurement teams.\n\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nRequirements\nMinimum 15 years of experience in major civil construction or infrastructure projects.\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar commercial or contracts management role.\n\nStrong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, construction law, claims management and dispute resolution.\n\nExperience in large international infrastructure projects.\n\nDegree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law or a related discipline.\n\nProfessional proficiency in English.\n\nJoint Venture experience is desirable.\n\nKey Competencies\nCommercial and contractual negotiation.\n\nLeadership and team management.\n\nClaims and change management.\n\nRisk identification and mitigation.\n\nStakeholder management.\n\nStrong communication, analytical and decision-making skills.\n\nAs a company that values diversity as a source of talent, we work to foster an inclusive environment that promotes respect, belonging and engagement so that all people can participate on an equal opportunity basis.
