Backed by $5.5 billion in joint government funding, the project forms part of Queensland's infrastructure pipeline ahead of Brisbane 2032 and is now in design and preconstruction.\nAbout the Opportunity:\nReporting to the Commercial Manager, you will own contract administration across Stage 1 of The Wave. Lead subcontract procurement from scope development through to award, and administer the head contract to protect the project's position. Work with the Construction Manager to manage progress claims, variations and extension of time claims, and build proforma agreements to govern subcontracting for the project. Joining at design and preconstruction stage, you will help shape commercial processes used across delivery of a major Sunshine Coast rail project.\nKey accountabilities for the position will be:\nLead subcontract procurement, from scope development through to award\nAdminister the head contract to protect the project's commercial position\nManage progress claims, variations and extension of time claims\nDevelop proforma subcontract agreements for use across the project\nMonitor budgets and cost coding, and flag any risk of over-run\nMaintain the filing and document control systems for the commercial team\nLiaise with the Construction Manager and site team on contractual matters\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nWhat capability and experience will you need to have:\nRelevant tertiary qualification in commercial or construction\nExtensive experience administering contracts on major projects\nStrong Excel and MS Office skills for commercial reporting\nCurrent White Card and Australian driver's licence\nExperience managing progress claims and variation claims\nAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
