The Northland Corridor Warkworth to Te Hana - Ara Tūhono project will enhance connectivity, improve safety and support regional growth, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.\nAbout the Opportunity\nJoin the project controls team on the Northland Corridor, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will track cost, schedule and risk on a major motorway build and turn site data into clear monthly reports. You will work with commercial, finance and delivery teams, and support procurement, variations and change control. The role gives you a broad view of how a large project controls its budget across each design gate. You will build practical skills across cost, schedule, risk and change on a nationally significant project.\nKey accountabilities for the position will be:\nTrack project cost against budget and prepare monthly cost reports\nReview accruals and vendor valuations to support accurate progress claims\nSupport monthly forecasts and analyse key cost variances\nDevelop project schedules and track milestones, dependencies and critical path\nAssess project risks and opportunities, and report on their status monthly\nAssess variations and change requests for scope, schedule and cost impact\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nDegree in quantity surveying, construction or engineering\nCost planning, estimating or quantity surveying on major projects\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel and cost management software skills\nClear communication with delivery, commercial and finance teams\nPreferred: membership of NZIQS, RICS, AIQS or equivalent\nWhy work for us?\nAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
