Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.\nJob Description\nSupervise and coordinate the operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance of HV/LV power systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, variable speed drives, and electrical distribution networks.\nLead a team of technicians and contractors in troubleshooting electrical faults, diagnosing system issues, and implementing effective repair solutions to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.\nPlan, oversee and monitor the installation, testing, commissioning, and optimization of electrical equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with EMSD Code of Practice (CoP), statutory requirements, and company standards.\nReview technical reports, maintenance records, and performance data, and provide recommendations for system improvements and asset optimization.\nCoordinate power system studies, network upgrades, and enhancement projects, including load flow analysis, fault analysis, and infrastructure improvement works.\nSupervise routine and emergency maintenance activities for pumps, HVAC systems, backup generators, and other utility systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.\nMonitor contractors' performance and ensure all works are completed in accordance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.\nEnforce safety procedures and permit-to-work systems, including confined space works, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and risk assessments.\nParticipate in emergency response and recovery activities during equipment failures and adverse weather conditions, including Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, when required.\nAssist management in manpower planning, work scheduling, budgeting, and training and development of maintenance staff.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nHigher Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.\nMinimum 8 years of relevant experience in power systems, utilities, electrical maintenance, or infrastructure facilities, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.\nHolder of a valid Grade B Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker. Grade H or above is an advantage.\nExperience in water treatment plants, utilities, infrastructure facilities, or critical installations is preferred.\nHolder of a Confined Space Worker Certificate is preferred.\nStrong knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems, statutory requirements, and maintenance best practices.\nGood leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nGood command of written and spoken Chinese and basic English.\nWillingness to participate in on-call duty, overtime work, emergency response activities, and work under adverse weather conditions when required.\nAs a company that values diversity as a source of talent, we work to foster an inclusive environment that promotes respect, belonging and engagement so that all people can participate on an equal opportunity basis.
