Long term work and real career runway as more works get awarded.\nThe Project\nThe Alkimos Desalination Plant Project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant, with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.\nWhy ACCIONA\nFlagship project with strong visibility across the industry\n\nMulti-disciplinary team, build relationships across trades\n\nLong term, stable work\n\nAdditional works coming, more opportunities ahead\n\nThe Role\nYou'll carry out electrical installation work across the plant, from switchboards through to cable terminations. Day to day, you'll install and assemble LV and HV switchboards, terminate power, control and instrumentation cables, and install and secure cabling in trays, conduits and underground services. You'll read drawings and diagrams, assist with cable pulling, and support testing and fault finding. You'll work closely with the wider construction team, completing QA checks and toolbox talks as you go.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nWhat you need\nWA Electrical Workers Licence (essential)\n\nAustralian Electrical Trade Qualification and Construction White Card\n\nWorking at Heights, Confined Space Entry, First Aid/CPR, EWP licence\n\nExperience on major infrastructure, water or industrial projects\n\nA genuine safety first attitude\n\nDesirable\nCertificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation or Industrial Electronics\n\nPLC, HV Switching or Hazardous Area (EEHA/Ex) certification\n\nCertified Profibus/Profinet installer\n\nACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
