From motorways and rail to hospitals and renewable energy assets, our teams build the essential infrastructure that connects communities and supports the country's long-term growth and resilience.\nAbout Opportunity\nAs Manager, Environmental and Sustainability, you'll guide all environmental and sustainability activities on a regional project, reporting to the Project Director. You'll set the strategic direction for environmental protection, sustainability performance, climate and resource management, and regulatory compliance through design, construction, commissioning and handover, working closely with construction, engineering, procurement, land access and stakeholder teams.\nKey Accountabilities\nDirect all environmental and sustainability functions across the project\nSet governance for environmental and sustainability management to Builder PSDR\nEnsure compliance with approvals, EPRs and legislation\nOversee the Construction Environmental Management Plan and sub-plans\nDrive the Sustainability Management Plan and initiatives\nMonitor and report on performance, targets and KPIs\nManage environmental and sustainability risk, incidents and audits\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nTertiary qualification in environmental science or engineering\nExperience managing environmental/sustainability on major projects\nStrong knowledge of approvals, EPRs and legislation\nExperience managing sustainability initiatives and reporting\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nLocation and conditions\nThis is a regional role and includes the provision to be based at camp as required.\nWhy Join Us?\nAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
