The Northland Corridor Warkworth to Te Hana - Ara Tūhono project will enhance connectivity, improve safety and support regional growth, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.\nAbout Opportunity\nReporting to the Project Director, the Environment & Sustainability Manager manages delivery of the Environmental Management System and Sustainability Strategy across design and construction. You will set governance, controls and performance reporting, embed requirements into delivery planning and commercial decisions, and direct the people, budgets and systems needed to meet compliance obligations and project commitments. You will manage a team of seven and represent the function to the client, regulators and ACCIONA.\nKey accountabilities for the position will be:\nOwn project-wide EMS implementation and continual improvement\nTurn sustainability strategy into measurable plans and milestones\nEmbed environmental requirements into design, procurement and contracts\nManage and develop a team of environment and sustainability specialists\nControl monitoring, consultant and sustainability budgets\nOversee assurance, audits, inspections and management reviews\nDirect incident response, investigation and corrective action\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nBachelor's degree in environmental science or related field\nCEnvP or equivalent professional accreditation\nISC Accredited Professional status\nWorking knowledge of the RMA and Fast-track Approvals Act\nExperience on complex civil infrastructure, PPP preferred\nThe project will initially be based in Auckland and then move to an office between Warkworth and Wellsford.\nWhy join us?\nAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
