This $4.6 billion project, awarded by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), is a key public-private partnership aimed at addressing congestion on a major highway in the Atlanta metropolitan area.The Equipment Rental Coordinator manages the rental process of equipment from external vendors for the SR400 project. This role makes sure the project has the right equipment available on time, controls the on-rent and off-rent status of each unit, compares rates to control costs, and coordinates the monthly billing of rental equipment to the correct project cost codes.\nJob Description\nReceive, review, and track rental equipment orders from the project team, and confirm availability with vendors.\n\nCoordinate the delivery, pick-up, and return of rented equipment, and make sure the on-rent and off-rent dates are correct.\n\nCall equipment on-rent and off-rent on time to avoid extra charges, and keep accurate records of all rented units.\n\nCompare rental rates between vendors and support cost control through rate analysis and budget awareness.\n\nPrepare and review rental agreements, and check that the terms, rates, and insurance requirements are correct.\n\nManage the monthly billing of rental equipment to the project, and make sure each cost is allocated to the correct cost code.\n\nReview rental invoices, resolve discrepancies with vendors and accounting, and approve invoices for payment.\n\nCoordinate logistics of equipment movement with the yard, transportation, and the field, giving prompt support to jobsite needs.\n\nMonitor equipment utilization and communicate to management when units are no longer needed or when additional equipment is required.\n\nMaintain accurate inventory records of all rented machines and attachments across the project.\n\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\n2+ years of experience in equipment rental, procurement, logistics, or administrative support, preferably in construction.\n\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\n\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\n\nIntermediate level of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)\n\nACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in US, as well as the Top Employers North America 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 seal, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
