Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.\nJob Description\nWe're looking for a Materials coordinator on a 6 Month contract to be responsible for implementing and managing site materials systems, including ordering, tracking, receiving, storing, and issuing materials in line with project and OEM requirements, while overseeing safe handling and OS&D reporting.\nThe Project\nThe project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.\nKey responsibilities\nImplementation of site materials management systems and procedures\nEnsure the input of identified material requirements into the Materials management system\nCoordinate the scheduling and delivery of materials and equipment to the Site\nManage the safe offloading of materials from trailers and the unpacking of transport and shipping containers\nReceipt and store materials in compliance with the OEM requirements\nImplement materials receipting, OS&D reporting, warehousing and work pack development and issuance to construction processes and procedures\nWork closely with Construction on reviewing the availability of materials for workpack development and issuing to Construction workfronts\nWork with Construction to plan and forecast site plant equipment requirements including mobilisation and demobilisation dates\nWork with plant and equipment hire companies on the mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment to maximise\nWork with cost control on the forecast of plant and equipment control accounts.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nStrong experience in applying health and safety standard to materials offloading and storage facilities\n>5 years warehousing, laydown and materials management experience\nMaterials management experience working in multi-discipline complex projects\nExperience in setting up and operating site materials storage yards and warehousing\nExperience in the utilisation of a materials management system\nExperience working with construction teams on the tracking and coordinating of materials tracking, receipt, storage and issuing to Construction\nExperience working with construction teams on the tracking and coordinating of plant and equipment\n What we offer\nAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
