Job Description

ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.

The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.

Job Description

Our Central-West Orana Project is currently seeking an experienced Materials & Logistics Coordinator to join our growing project team.

Working within the project logistics and warehouse function, you will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, tracking, control and distribution of materials, equipment and inventory required to support construction activities across the project.

The successful candidate will have strong experience working in a busy warehouse or logistics environment, with demonstrated knowledge of materials management, inventory control and warehouse management systems. You will play a key role in ensuring materials are accurately received, recorded, stored and issued to site teams when required.

This is a remote project position operating on a 14 days on / 7 days off roster. Bus transport is currently provided from Sydney only, with various pick-up and drop-off stops between Sydney and the Mudgee region. All other applicants within NSW will be required to DIDO (Drive In Drive Out) at their own expense. Please note this is not a FIFO role, and candidates residing outside NSW will be required to arrange and fund their own travel to Sydney or site if successful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and accurately record incoming materials, equipment and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all material movements are recorded within the relevant warehouse management systems.
  • Coordinate the storage, identification, tracking and distribution of materials across the project.
  • Pick, prepare and issue materials and equipment to construction teams as required.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages and damaged or missing materials.
  • Ensure materials are stored safely, securely and in accordance with project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records relating to purchase orders, delivery dockets, stock movements and material issues.
  • Liaise with procurement, construction, logistics and project teams to ensure materials are available when required.
  • Assist with the coordination of deliveries and movement of materials to and from site.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse and storage environment.
  • Ensure all warehouse and logistics activities are undertaken in accordance with project safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience working as a Storeperson, Warehouse Officer or Logistics Officer, preferably within a construction, infrastructure, mining, utilities or major projects environment.
  • Proven experience with materials management and inventory control.
  • Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of stock control, material tracking, receipting and issuing processes.
  • Experience conducting stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to identify, organise and track a wide range of construction materials and equipment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple project teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Current Construction White Card.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to work in a remote project environment on a 14/7 roster.
