The workshop fabricates structural steel, pipework and mechanical components that support construction and maintenance programs. Work may extend to local sites with a focus on safe delivery and reliable workmanship. The team values precision and practical problem solving.\nAbout the Opportunity\nAs a Mechanical Fitter, you will carry out maintenance work across Melbourne sites and at our Port Melbourne workshop. You'll install equipment on project sites, including work at height, and keep existing plant and equipment running well. You'll work alongside a skilled team who value quality and safety.\nKey Accountabilities\nInstall and maintain heavy metal structures and pipework\nFit and assemble mechanical components to spec\nRead technical drawings and specifications\nUse precision tools to measure and check work\nMaintain and troubleshoot plant and equipment\nWork safely at heights, on scaffolds and in confined spaces\nFollow WHS rules to keep yourself and others safe\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nCertificate III in Engineering, Mechanical Trade\nConstruction Induction Card (White Card)\nCurrent driver licence\n5+ years mechanical maintenance experience\nHigh-Risk Work Licence (EWP) an advantage\nACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
